The number one cause of death in children with cancer on the Colombian Atlantic Coast is the abandonment of specialized medical treatment. This is due to the great difficulty in accessing to cancer treatments, which the most vulnerable families face during such a difficult time. The Manos Unidas Foundation is a private, independent and non-profit organization that aims to eliminate these obstacles and meet the needs of these unprotected populations.
